Life Principle #5
God does not require us to understand His will, just obey it, even if it seems unreasonable.

Gideon: Circumstances Convey Confirmation
Sometimes God uses natural phenomena to confirm His guidance. Gideon provides a notable example of this.
Unsure that he had heard God clearly—and feeling more than a little fearful—Gideon asked God to confirm that he was to lead his people into battle. So one evening he laid out a fleece and asked that God make it soaking wet by the following morning, while the ground around it remained dry. And that’s what happened. Still unsure, he asked for the fleece to remain dry in the midst of wet grass. And again God granted his request (Judg. 6:36–40).
While I never recommend that a person stipulate the way, means, or method that God should use to confirm His word—we are to trust Him and take Him at His word—I believe we can ask God to confirm His will to us. But we must leave the methodology up to Him!
